The best starting point to experience the exotic and vibrant atmosphere of the red city is a Marrakech riad: Riyad El Cadi.
We recommend a two or three days visit to explore this venerable city with its rose-earth coloured buildings, labyrinth-like souks and the numerous grand monuments and labyrinthine souks (markets) set against the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. A Marrakech riad is the best starting point for you to explore the secrets of bustling Marrakech and Riyad El Cadi even more so: it is just a couple of steps away from the exotic life of the main square.
Our riad team is happy to assist you in planning your stay in Marrakech by organising guided tours in whatever language, recommending restaurants and making reservations or giving you advice on shopping in the souks.
Outside of Marrakech
If you should stay for more than 3 days in Marrakech, we recommend making an excursion to the Atlas Mountains not far from our Marrakech riads. If the royal city is only a part of your trip around Morocco, we are also happy to help out with ideas and recommendations for your itinerary, hotel or riad bookings and tickets for your transport: How to travel around Morocco.
Golf when staying in a Marrakech riad
Even though we are situated in the heart of the old town Medina, more than 10 golf courses are within easy reach of the hotel (15-30 minutes by taxi). All of them, may be booked by us before your arrival in Marrakech or once you are in our riad. Golf tips
